So, how well did our panel do, and did chatGPT prove superior? I (Jen) correctly predicted four books, Anita predicted 3, Tracy predicted 2. and Nicole and Lisa both predicted 1. Chat GPT predicted two books correctly. Our panel will be reading the longlist and posting reviews as we go. I own quite a few from the list but have only read two of them so I have a long road ahead of me.
We want to hear from you. What did you think of the list? Any surprises on the list? Any books you felt were overlooked?

I predicted 2 of the list so am glad to do as well as chatGPT. I am surprised that Hollinghurst didn’t make it and sad that Thien also didn’t. And no Australians either! But I am sure there are gems in here and I cannot wait to start reading them!
Good luck to you all on getting through them all

I’d say two is pretty good. I am also sad Book of Records didn’t make it. Will you be reading them all too?

Yes absolutely! Does your group all read them in order?

The one book I predicted correctly, I would have removed from my predictions list … LOL

Lol – have you read Endling? I am desperately looking for people who have read this book to understand what I am missing. I read the back and I love it, set in the Ukraine, with a beautiful snail conservationist and highlighting the bride trade, but… the middle just felt ridiculous to me…
