Review Policies

We are open to reviewing books sent for consideration. If you are interested in sending us your book to review, please contact me (Jen) prior to sending anything so that I can let you know if we have the time to review your book. Enquires can be sent to jenlane3@yahoo.com. I will try my best to reply within 2 days.

General information:

1. We are currently accepting print, ebooks, ARCs, finished copies, and audiobooks. If the books are part of a series, we may need copies of the previous books.

2. All books we agree to accept will be read and reviewed, but do give us up to 3 months to complete them because we have a personal list of books to read as well as a work schedule that varies from month to month.

3. We are NOT accepting self-published books, indie press books or interactive media books at this time. Review requests for these books will not receive a reply.

2. All reviews on this blog represent our independent and personal opinions. We write fair and honest reviews and there is no guarantee that we will give your book a positive review.

Genres

Jen’s rules:

I accept Adult, YA, MG, and children’s fiction (I post monthly reviews of picture books targeted to young children ages 4-6). I read most genres within fiction although prefer literary fiction and fantasy. You can take a look at my reviews to get a sense for the types of books I like. Books in the following genres will be considered:

literary fiction
historical fiction
contemporary
fantasy
mystery
fairy tale/folklore
dystopian
science fiction (not my favorite genre but I will review them)

I am NOT accepting books in the following genres:

Non-fiction
Memoirs/modern biographies
Religious fiction – e.g. specifically preachy religious fiction. Religious themes within novels are fine, but I don’t enjoy reading heavy handed Christian literature.
graphic novels
erotica
romance novels

Book Worm’s rules

Giveaways: We are happy to host a giveaway for you! Our criteria for hosting giveaway books is the same as for reviewing books with the exception that we will not host giveaways for ebooks.

Entries will be compiled using google docs and the winner will be chosen using random.org
