All prizes will be awarded at the end of the competition because of one caveat — we want to give as many people as possible a chance to win prizes so each person can only win ONE prize. If one person happens to be the winner of more than one prize, we’ll ask that person to pick which prize they prefer and then we will pick the runner up to win the other prize. So far our two tentative winners are:

Annapi: First place in predictions
Rachel: For nominating the book that ultimately won the competition — Boys in the Boat

  1. Of the books I’ve read so far, Never Let Me Go has been my favourite. I was comforted to read Tracey S’s review of The Martian and discover I’m not the only one who found it too tech heavy. I picked up Constellation from the library on Saturday and am really excited to get started on that one.

I’ve been doing March Madness brackets for years, and the only prediction I’ve made consistently is that Gonzaga always wins their first round. Good thing I’ve never put money on any of them!

  4. OMG City on Fire vs. Infinite Jest … as I am half-way through CoF and only made it to 170 in IJ, that is every level or torture imaginable.
